Abercrombie visit 7.

Today, we had to deliver a throwing and catching session 1 to 1 for 20 minutes.

As i got my student, i introduced myself and spoke to him for 5 minutes. Asking him which his favourite sport was which involved throwing and catching.

His answer was cricket so i based the techniques around that.

My session:

- Under-arm throwing.
- Over-arm throwing.
- Catching from different angles, heights distances and situations.
- Throwing the ball through targets.

I included a point system to the throwing through targets part. Michael reacted well to this and tried a lot harder trying to improve his score.

After the 20 minutes, we got the group together and had a game of goalball. Everytime somebody scored a goal, we changed the ball so the kids had tp adapt to the different situations. We used a sponge ball, a tennis ball, a netball, a volleyball and a basketball.

Overall, the session went well as Michael enjoyed the 1 to 1 coaching and improved from the 20 minutes.
